Project: The Red Lion Inn

Company:

The Red Lion Inn

Description:

The Dobbert Companies has had the honor of working on several construction projects for the world-renowned Red Lion Inn in historic Stockbridge Massachusetts, which maintains an operating history dating back to the late 1700s. Some of our more substantial projects included:

  • Chauncey Curtiss House (now Maple Glen). We installed all new plumbing systems, a complex HVAC system, and a fire protection sprinkler system in a renovation and addition to the Chauncey Curtiss house on The Red Lion Inn property. The goal of the project was to create a 17-room guest house where every room is unique. This was a one-of-a-kind opportunity to combine and integrate old and new building systems.
  • Kitchen renovation. The Red Lion Inn team undertook a kitchen renovation with the goal of completing in time for the Easter holiday, which was just over two months later. With no time to spare, a contractor was needed who could quickly and efficiently fulfill multiple trade efforts and to coordinate the available space to fit all of the mechanical equipment and piping. The Dobbert Companies was the contractor for the job, and successfully completed the fire protection, plumbing, and HVAC project workstreams in record time.
