Project: Union Oyster House

Company:

Union Oyster House

Description:

This iconic Boston, Massachusetts landmark bills itself as “America’s Oldest Restaurant,” as the restaurant started serving food in 1826 and has continuously operated the oyster bar and restaurant space in a similar configuration ever since.  A designated “National Historic Landmark,” the location is a “must-see” for Boston visitors.

In order to update the building’s fire sprinkler system, company leadership required a partner who had significant experience with the preservation of cultural and historic landmarks, as well as with the safety and hospitality needs of the restaurant industry.  The Dobbert Companies provided a unique blend of skills in each arena, boasting a long list of clients in both industry segments, and was chosen to significantly upgrade the restaurant’s fire protection systems.
